Not only did we discover the great diversity of its taste and richness, Jorge opened a world of research, demonstrating the beneficial properties of some of the varieties. Jorge has always been curious, looking for the highest quality seasonal products. He used and nourished this inquisitiveness for years searching for high quality seasonal products to deliver to Michelin star restaurants. 

Whilst we were all having lunch one day in Sitges, a picturesque costal town south of Barcelona, we spoke about our loved ones. A father, of 90-years diagnosed with high blood pressure, unwilling to take all the medication described because of the side effects. 

“Extra virgin olive oil! the answer is PICUAL!” was Jorge’s answer. 
And from that moment on he continually provided evidence of why extra virgin olive oil is called “green gold”.

Using it in your food is the ultimate celebration of life! And to be honest. We were sold at the first taste, even before the additional benefits were known to us! A teaspoon a day before breakfast is the recommendation for healthy benefits. 

And this is our journey and discovery, which we want to share with you. We are sure that this is the beginning of a lasting relationship in which this wonderful olive oil, Picual, unites us and provides you with moments of happiness, friendship and health.
